Guntur Kaaram OTT Release Date: Trivikram Srinivas’s film “Guntur Karam” is releasing on digital platforms this week. The film stars Mahesh Babu and Sreeleela in lead roles. The film will be released on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi on February 9, before the start of Valentine’s Week. Sharing the information on its Instagram account, Netflix wrote, “Things are about to get very hot because Rowdy Ramana is coming and he is ready to rock. Guntur Karam is coming to Netflix on February 9 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. #GunturKaaramOnNetflix”

The film was a good box office success, even though multiple films were released simultaneously. The film is especially popular in Andhra Pradesh, while its earnings in Telangana and abroad were slightly less. According to Sacnilk.com, the film grossed approximately ₹124.82 crore in 23 days in India. Its worldwide gross was approximately ₹177.67 crore.
Guntur Karam is Trivikram and Mahesh’s third film together. Before this, both of them have given great films like Athdu and Khaleja. Although the film received mixed reviews upon release, the business gradually picked up and continued even during Sankranthi.

The story revolves around Ramana (Mahesh Babu), a rowdy and businessman from Guntur. He does not have a good relationship with his mother (Ramya Krishnan), who is soon to become a politician. When his grandfather (Prakash Raj) asks him to break all ties with his mother, he rebels and sets out to find out the truth behind her leaving him 25 years ago.
In the film, Sreeleela plays the role of his girlfriend and Meenakshi Choudhary plays the role of his cousin. The film was initially projected as a mass entertainer, but fans were surprised to see it being a family drama. Thaman SK’s songs in the film were also not liked much except “Dum Masala”.
‘Guntur Karam’ was released in movie theaters with 159 minutes. But now there is talk that the length of the film can be increased on OTT. The song ‘Amma’ from the film has already been removed from the theatrical version. Also, some action scenes related to the background were also removed. Now the news is that all this can be seen in the OTT version of ‘Guntur Karam’. This will also increase the length of the film. The makers have recently released the song ‘Amma’ on YouTube. The audience criticized that a song which was very important to the entire story was Cut.
