Chandigarh turned into a hill station like Shimla on Saturday when it experienced an unusual hailstorm coupled with rain. The roads of Chandigarh looked white covered with a big sheet of hailstones.

The roads of Chandigarh looked white covered with a big sheet of hailstones for the first time.
Icy hailstones poured for more than half an hour and the experience was similar to a snowfall.
The city witnessed such an abnormal weather in Industrial area, Chandigaqrh Airport, Madhya Marg, Kalagram.
The city has witnessed ice hail earlier but this time it was different as it gave a feeling of snowfall.
Young men, women and children enjoyed the dropping of hailstones and had a perfect outing on roads covered with sheets of white.
